Working with Metro Delhi International School

I worked as the lead designer for the website project with MDIS (Metro Delhi International School), an institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). They offer an American educational program based on the Common Core State Standards.

My goal was to create an improved website experience for both desktop and mobile users, providing clear information and increasing admissions intake. Additionally, I focused on enhancing the school's social media reach.

Leveling up the Experience of website

To start the project, I analyzed the existing website and identified several areas for improvement. One key issue was that the admission page was not prominently displayed, resulting in users struggling to find information. The overall website lacked clarity and failed to effectively communicate with users. I addressed these problems by working on the page layout, typography, and information architecture.

Working on CTAs

During the redesign process, I observed that the website lacked effective call-to-action (CTA) placements. CTAs are crucial for prompting users to take specific actions, such as signing up for newsletters or making purchases. Consequently, prioritizing the implementation of CTAs became essential, as the client aimed to connect with the website visitors.

Working on Navigation bar

Old Navigation Bar

New Navigation Bar

The website redesign for MDIS (Metro Delhi International School), our primary focus was on simplifying the information architecture to enhance navigation and user experience. Our aim was to ensure that visitors could easily access and understand the curriculum details and the school's admission process. By streamlining the website's structure and organizing the content in a logical manner, we aimed to present clear and concise information to prospective students and their families. This strategic approach was intended to facilitate smoother navigation, enabling users to find the information they needed effortlessly.

Working on Layout

Furthermore, I worked on refining the website layout to maintain a clean and professional appearance. I chose a professional-looking blue color scheme to enhance the overall aesthetics of the website.

Working on Mobile Breakpoints

Considering the significant mobile traffic, particularly from social media posts, I developed mobile breakpoints for responsive design. Since the client did not have any responsive designs, I started from scratch to ensure optimal mobile user experience.
