I took a freelance project with publishing house 'Pakhi'. A Hindi literary magazine, Since September 2008, Pakhi consistently maintained a regular publishing schedule. Being associated with one of the most prominent publishing houses and regarded as one of the premier literature magazines in India, 'Pakhi' holds a significant position in the literary landscape of the country.
My primary goal for this project is to create a book cover that perfectly aligns with the title, theme, and perspective of the author. By doing so, I aim to capture the essence of the book and attract the target audience effectively

This book was related to both language and society. The issue was that both aspects needed to be represented on the cover. It couldn't show only language or only society.
I started thinking about what things could be there that connect both aspects together. Suddenly, I realized that humans are the common factor in both. It means whether we talk about language or society, both aspects are interconnected with humans.
Then, I selected five elements from which the human body is made: Earth, Water, Fire, Sky, and Air. I used these five elements in my illustration to depict the birth of life and language. Representing life, there is a tree on the cover, and for language, there is the letter 'A'. Surrounding these two elements on the cover are the five elements - Earth, Water, Fire, Sky, and Air.
